- all to provide you with the most comprehensive and objective wind resource assessments available worldwide.

Our Experience

In March 2008, 3TIER launched its REmapping the World initiative by releasing a global 15km resolution wind map online. This initial map serves as the first step in the plan to map the global wind resource, country by country, at 5km resolution.

Recently 3TIER also completed one of the largest wind integration studies to date covering the 11 western United States, or 4 million square kilometers at a spatial resolution of two kilometers—simulating 900 GW of potential energy capacity.

3TIER has delivered high-resolution maps and assessments for projects on six of the seven continents. Our FullView customers include most of the top ten wind energy developers in the world.
